TY, MICM. Yes, I was a bit let down especially knowing that "Castle" has been picked up for a 3rd season. There is one unresolved issue... Castle and Beckett. Time for a few stories revolving around his daughter and Mother. I love Susan Sullivan. Have since my "soap" days. They should do something more with Beckett's detectives too. How about a story involving her boss? Make it a little more interesting than just Castle and Beckett now.

They did one show one the younger of the two, the Puerto Rican detective.
Isn't it surprising that they gave the custody of the daughter to Castle, and not the mother? Maybe they figured she was better able to pay child support?

Yes, I remember that story about the detective. That's why I said that. More!
Castle explained that in the first eppie. He was able to afford the child rearing expenses better and his mother was a built in baby sitter. No, the mom of the daughter does not pay child support. Castle is a (rich) gentleman....he didn't ask for any.

I think that the season ended appropriately. She finally admitted her feelings..at least to herself. She had been keeping it all bottled up, not even letting him know that she was a huge fan of his books. I agree that more info on all the supporting cast would make for some good episodes.

My boyfriend and I hated the ending. Castle's ex is an annoying blonde, and it's very disappointing to think that Castle would even marry a woman like that. And after spending such quality time with Beckett, how could he even stomach spending time with his ex again? It just doesn't make any sense to me. And from the body language of his ex draped all over him at the police station, his ex isn't going to let go of Castle again anytime soon.

Castle is a great show, and there are so many great shows the networks cancel in favor of dumb, boring shows that are flashy and too sexual. Nothing is left to the imagination anymore. I always thought that made shows even better when they were suggestive (not necessarily sexually)and mysterious rather than everything spelled out! Ugh!

I hated the ending too, but I can't believe that Castle is really going stay with his ex wife for long, in spite of what she may want.
