While growing up in Staten Island, all the house wife's on our block, about 14 of them on our side of the street, were nothing like what we see on TV. They did not walk around in fancy dresses all day long, they moped floors, did gardening, hung clothes out, painted patio furniture.......like who had time to go to a spa???

I grew up in Jersey, not far from these woman, actually in the same county, and no-one acted like them, we lived in a development and all the moms took the kids to the pool, grocery shopped, drove kids around, housework, hung out with each other, none of this crap, i'm sure they had their disagreements, but we knew nothing of it.
