I caught that "envelopes" too - but I have to give her a break on that.
"Yous" is like "y'all" if you live in NY or certain parts of NJ, and have either never been corrected or fall back to your "roots" and where ya come from - it's total slang.
No excuse for ingredientses. Kinda like there is no excuse for "that's mines".

It's envelops. No "e." For the verb.
Bouncethelight, you are correct. It is not a long "o."

I don't hear "TA-REE"...as in "Ta-dah!".
I hear "CHREE" with the "ch" sounding like the "ch" in "cheetos". Maybe there is a slight hint of a dropped "a" in there...
Doesn't make what you "hear" the only way to "hear" it.

I read the posts about the grocery store --- sickening.

Wasn't really that monumental.

I actually came here to post about a somewhat personal "TA-REE" story. A friend of mine owns a store. Well, TA-REE and Barney Rubble come in with the mongrels in tow. Don't you know, the mongrels were pulling everything off the shelves, trying things on, grabbing and pulling at things, etc. My friend was pretty upset about it and asked the "parents" more than once to PLEASE control their children and don't let them pull things off shelves, touch things, etc.... Do you think they stopped? Of course not. TA-REE and Barney ended up buying a bunch of stuff and had the nerve to ask for a discount because they're paying with cash. My friend told them "sorry, no discounts" (even though she would have typically given a nice discount, along with gifts for the kids).
|
That's a shame.
I own a store too. That is not kid-friendly AT ALL. I can't stand people who don't control their kids in my business and get up all in my face b/c I tell their kids to knock it off - and really only for their safety.

I dont think all her advice is bad. But T cannot even control her kids while shopping. Instead she mentally checks out to chat about herself on the phone? This womans priorities are mixed up. Her kids appear to be screaming for her attention. The whole situation is sad. I dont like Melissa either but her kids seem a little tamer. Maybe she got lucky.

I hope this isn't true, but I was on Caroline's Facebook page and someone asked if it was true that Kim Grannypants was getting her own show. No one answered.

i really think t is clueless in how to parent a kid or a pia husband--and i feel for her cause her mess will just continue and get bigger--my hope is someone she trusts steers her straight
caroline may not be giving harmful advice but she needs to look at her own kids lack of self motivation(meaning doing things on their own without mom's money)------so sad when you see people with so much money contributing so little to society(this applies to all of them--except the giudice's as they have too much of their own issues and need others help and prayers)
