Isn't she the one that's doing interviews with all the different magazines? If she didn't want her business out there don't talk about it to make money.
She didn't put her business out there.
Everyone else did. From Danielle (via Missy) to Missy, to rag mags to radaronline. com to Perez..to Andy's stupid WWHL shows, and other online gossip sites...who research, report/copy & paste.
She's trying to set her story straight, in the only way she can. Bravo Andy isn't going to help.
When is Caroline's husband's story about how he lied to gain a paid position in local government...going to be featured on the show? When is Bravo Andy going to bring it up when he has Caroline in his lair? It's been all over NJ. The rags? Not so much. The governor of NJ called Al Manzo out for the lie he was trying to get away with. How embarrassing.
When is Jacqueline's husband's multiple lawsuits going to be brought up?
How about the legal issue with BLK water?
What about all the contractors Joe Gorga owes, and have been very diligent in commenting on (the ones OWED) any website that brings up the Missy and Gorga debt?
Missy and her "we pay our bills"....apparently she and Joey don't.

All these people are a scourge on humanity. They all seem to be living very large, while being unable to pay their bills. Why can't they just live in a normal house they can afford? And here's a hint -- if you don't want your sleazy personal business made public, don't agree to appear on a TV show that features the details of your life. They're a perfect example of what is wrong with contemporary America.

That is the EXACT reason they were cast on the show. Average people living in houses they can afford is boring. Rich people living in houses they can afford is also boring. But put anyone in a house and lifestyle they can't really afford, and it's instant drama.
The producers at Bravo knew what they were doing. They weren't looking for a cast of well-off people, so the audience could watch and envy the way they live. Oh no! They cast people living on the edge, who are in constant turmoil, because living on the edge is hard - and that causes drama - and that is interesting to watch.
And the thing is, Bravo didn't even have to look at their bank statements to know whether or not to cast them - because it's not about the money - it's about the personality traits. The people they cast on this show would be living on that edge whether they had a yearly income of $20,000 or $200,000 or $2 million. No matter how much they have, it will never be enough, and they will always be trying to live just a little bit larger than they actually should. Just their basic personalities!

Dont know about this theory. Housewives of Beverly Hills and Housewives of New York, those ladies have real money and are able to bring the drama. Just a different kind of drama.

I agree, there is drama on all of the Housewives shows. I think the difference with NJ is that we are dealing with an Italian family. You have the high emotions and the fighting, but they are Italian and family is important, so they fight and they cry and they yell, but in the end they are still family and will stick together.

Some of what I wrote could be applied to the other franchises, sure! But I was really talking about the New Jersey version of the show.
In my opinion the Orange County version is dominated by looks, the New York and Beverly Hills versions by status, and the New Jersey and Atlanta versions by conspicuous consumption. There's a lot of overlap, of course, but I think the how much each of those things is valued, varies from cast to cast.

Yes, you're right. I just couldn't live that way!
