Unhappy Totally agree with camping!

Where is the WOW factor in the designs this season? I've been watching PR from the start, and in past seasons I'd back up the DVR during the runway shows to re-watch some of the designs because they were so intricate or strange (think Chris March) or creative. That's what made it fun and interesting... to see how their minds worked and what designs they came up with. Where are the equivalents of Uli's colorful prints or Jillian's well tailored jackets? I really have not been blown away by much this season.

The challenges don't seem as thought-provoking or inspiring this season; perhaps that is part of the problem... Or are we just tired of seeing "red carpet" gowns, wedding dresses, etc?

Christopher should have been gone waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay before last night. I thought that dress last night was too awful for words.

Irina, Carol Hannah and Althea were the best of the season no matter who else had been standing there last night beside them. They deserved to go to F3.
Gordana is a lovely woman but seems limited and doesn't have such a great vision. The dress last night was ok-not take my breath away gorgeous but ok.
Just my humble opinion of a pretty boring season and that model show afterwards didn't make it any better. Just a quick note bout that--I watched the last few shows as the season began winding down and my my my but that Katie model is /was a HUGE freakin biotch!!!
The Kaelyn or however her name is spelled that models for Irina is sweet and GorGeous!!!!
umm no one said giordana was ugly--u did--my thought was the focus was on YOUNG,DRESSING YOUTHFULLY,AND PHONY SMILING----not all of those qualities exsisted in the ones eliminated---IMHO talent was not
always the first criteria

(I haven't seen this mentioned here. If it has, forgive me for posting old news.)
Thanks for posting the info. I'm sure we aren't the ONLY group on the internet who felt annoyed by the unfair end result judging system that happens when the actual judges aren't there to see a contestant from start to finish. It is more about long term innovative style than just what the contestant happened to produce on a particular challenge. I'm glad they listened and changed that deal....because it just isn't fair to the contestants.
---------------------------------------------------
However, I do agree with the top 3...even though some others were eliminated before their time and other stayed long after they shouldn't have.

I really WANTED Gordanna to succeed because of many reasons....but the truth is....she wasn't the best of the best....but what a completely lovely dress design she went out of the competition with. I sure do wish her much luck in the future!! (And to that boy...I wish a great big Kleenex commercial!!)

I look forward to the collections the top 3 come up with. I will be surprised though if Irina doesn't win. She not only is very talented, but she is driven. I really do think she wanted it more than anyone else.

You know what I hate most about Irina? That she's good. Because she's such a witch.

Yeah, and it's back to New York. Maybe being in casual L.A. didn't inspire the designers to be cutting edge.

I like the top 3 they have.

Poor Christopher, yes a Kleenex commercial would be great for him!

I'm going for Carol to win. Althea's good too. Anyone but Irina. As Nicole said, she's a witch!

If the world of fashion was populated by nice people, we would still be wearing animal skins. Being a ***** (especially if you are male) is probably more important than being talented, Tim Gunn excepted.

I understand what you're saying. They need someone with character for the ratings, but I'm all about the nice factor. You don't have to be a b&*(% to get your point across. Carol and Althea have been nice all along, as were most of the other designers. Irina is just making herself look bad. Thankfully we don't see the people who design our clothes on a daily basis. I'm sure I would've stopped wearing some of those labels long ago
