Last night's episode was pretty boring, but the previews for the upcoming season will probably get me to stick around.
First, I love Jillian. I have liked her since the beginning and was shocked when Jason eliminated her. What I like the most about her is what she said last night...she's not gorgeous. She's spent most of her 20s focusing on her career and assuming the perfect guy would just pop into her life one day and that hasn't happened. Her story is just like nearly every one of my friends and she seems genuinely normal.
Second, a few of the guys seem okay but I was literally pausing the previews last night trying to figure out who's going to be the jerk that everyone hates and how many of these idiots have girlfriends. It was weird that so many of them were 25. I remember a friend telling me that you've got to subtract 7 years from a guy's age in order to see his maturity level! A 25-year old is basically an 18 year old. As the break dancer showed, this theory is probably a good one. Unfortunately, I do think the country singer Wes is there for the publicity. And it seems that the guys really hate that guy from Puerto Rico (I think his name is Juan).
From what I could gather in my pausing , it seems that the guy who is a pilot (sorry, can't remember the name) is there for a lot of the scenes. He seems pretty okay.
What I hope for Jillian is that she is able to see through the BS. She seems to have a good head on her shoulders and it would be nice for her to find someone nice. This show is just so contrived but I think that someone who has done it before perhaps has an advantage because they know that life returns to normal when the cameras stop rolling and the dream dates end. Jason wasn't a good example of that, but Trista and Jen (who chose no one in the end) are.

Wasn't Juan from Argentina? Not a country renown for its humbleness.
I liked that they showed a lot of snippets from upcoming shows, otherwise, if I was just going off last night's episode, I would have probably skipped watching the rest of the season unfold. Did anyone catch that they reveal a guy who admits that the only reason he came on the show was because he wants to be the next "Bachelor"? I thought that was pretty shocking, but better to have that stuff out in the open, along with the ones with girls waiting at home.
I too found the guys to be fitting a generic mold for the most part - I am guessing she gets to say what she's attracted to and that's what they narrow it down to. They all seemed to be similar in height, weight, physique, hairstyle, etc. Blaaaaaahhhhhhh.........

Don Juan lol left Argentina at 2 years old. Warning bell-He works with Mommy at his business LOL>>>Bad sign right there......sounds like Mommy's boy but I may be wrong. He did seem nice until he started to get possessive of her in a way! >>>>
I liked the pilot. He seemed normal....so far.....There were so many freakin guys!!! I couldn't keep track -how could poor Jillian!!>>??
I did not like the British guy...Something not right with him!
I did like Ed as I said who seemed cool and normal....

Loved the country singer, Wes. But in the previews we hear some guys saying another guy is only there for the exposure. I wonder if they were referring to Wes?
Couldn't stand the second break dancing dude...the one that lost. He's so in love with himself there's no room for anyone else.
Didn't care for "draw a moustache" dude or the English guy. Glad Stephen the lawyer is gone.
Can't remember most of the names. But that upcoming scene showing several of them with their shirts off was MOST memorable.

What's interesting is that the information about the girlfriends and the one wanting to be the next Bachelor gets fished out fairly quickly by the other guys. It'll be fun to see if one of the guys has the nerve to tell Jillian. It seems from the previews that the information DOES come out.

Bachelorette, Jillian
The show was too long, and boring. 30 guys!!!!!!! Most women would have difficulty choosing between two. Give me a break!

I'd still like to know how she memorizes all of their names and faces. Especially since most of them look alike.

If I had 30 guys all wanting to date me, hey, bring them on!!! lol
It would be better if she had a chance to sit down with each guy for at least 10 minutes to get to know something about them and to see if they share her interests. And write down who is who. Half the guys never had a chance to talk with her and some really cute one's looked really uncomfortable standing on the sidelines. And of course she passed them up. They should all get a chance with the bachelorettes that weren't picked last season.
