I read an interview with a guy that works on the production side of The Bachelor and says they frankenbite stuff like crazy to craft a story.

I have watched these show for awhile. Every season of the Bachelor, the Bachelorette, Survivor, Amazing Race, Big Brother, Biggest Loser, and even Brett Michaels Rock of love. (except for the last one)
I know the producers tricks pretty well by now. Whenever they want you to think its one way, its always the other way. The suspense never works for me anymore. I yawn.
Ever watch movie trailers? They put all the best stuff from the movie, out of order to make it look like it's a great movie, we all have to see it,etc. Then when you go and see it, it's a big letdown. Like in Star Trek with the giant monster chasing Kirk. It was only there briefly.

I would agree with you 100% except that last season's Bachelor really DID turn out to be dramatic. The scene we saw from the beginning of Jason leaning over the deck really WAS because he was an idiot. Don't know if the drama previewed for Jillian will all be there, but if it is, looks like we'll be getting some good male cat fights. Yippee.

I always enjoy watching The Bachelorette over the Bachelor, just because of the way the men get all jealous and fight. The women do too, but it's more fun watching men in a hissy fit for some reason.

While I hate to generalize, most men I know are far more straightforward than women. Most men will just come straight out and say they don't like someone and it looks like that is what happens. Plus, there is nothing like naked male insecurity. They need to mark their territory.

I have never seen this show before until tonight. I have seen the Bachelor a couple of times before, and while these shows are not my favorite, I have to agree with those who like 'Bachelorette' better, just seems more entertaining I guess, the men seem more desperate.
Jillian seems like a cool girl, looked dang good with those boots on and that black dress
Someone fill me in, why did that one guy(Dave I think it was) call out Juan for? seemed like a stupid reason.

Jillian, Jillian, Jillian!!! How could you keep Tanner P!!! That means we have to watch his icky self next week. And Wes doesn't come across as genuine at all. He actually looked bored during his date with her.
I like Julien too.

I can't believe I missed the first 90 minutes! Okay, I didn't see Jake anywhere in the last half hour. Please tell me I just missed him and nothing happened that caused him to leave.
