When Anna asked Josh to look at the latest pregnancy test and then give her the news because in their 4 months of marriage she had been disappointed on previous occasions I just shook my head.

Motherhood/parenting is good and wonderful but there is more to life for most of us. Watching Michelle walk around nursing the new baby is more than I want to know about her.

I really don't want to know that much about anyone's life and I really don't want to know any more about all the things that can and do go wrong in so many lives.

I read something recently about the "Quiverfull" movement, and how many of them live in poverty. With absolutely no birth control at all, people end up with way more kids than they can support. They also have a high rate of requiring tax payer assistance, i.e., food stamps. Such nice people, but so ignorant at the same time.

I look for the vibe next time it is on. I hope that they wouldn't kick her out, but I fear they would. They'd probably try to pray the gay out of her, and she'd probably totally try to repress it anyway.

My quote from a different thread: I'm just waiting for one to rebel! With that many there has to be at least one black sheep. If you happened to catch the episode when Josh and sisters went to FL to visit Anna and plan the wedding, you saw the mobile home that Anna's large family lives in. Not every family with a "quiverfull" can afford to live like the Duggers. Good for them, but I bet it is rare among this group/cult.
