Default What Show Is This?

Do yo remember the opening words of this show?

Man lives, in the sunlit world of what he believes to be reality.
But... there is, unseen by most, an underworld, a place that is just as real, but not as brightly lit. A dark side.

Then this at the end:

The dark side is always there, waiting for us to enter, waiting to enter us. Until next time, try to enjoy the daylight.

Yes. My favorite one had to do with a man and woman who bury her husband alive. It took place in what looked to be the swamps of Louisiana. Big old Plantation type of house.

The buried man actually dies after being buried but it takes several days. He then becomes one of the undead and goes after his wife and her lover in the spooky old mansion. They were scared and so was I.

The one that really disturbed me was the one of the old man on Halloween, he would not give kids candy and a troll came to visit him. It was creepy.

I really liked "Night Gallery" better than "Tales from the Darkside."

There were some really scary episodes and then a few that were clunkers.

Which brings up "Thriller" with Boris Karloff as the host. "Hungry Glass" with William Shatner (I think) stays with me. That episode did some damage to my psyche.
