Reliable Source - Amy Argetsinger and Roxanne Roberts share gossip from inside the Beltway and beyond.

They're talking about some of the potential wives in this article. I have to say they don't look very trashy. Although it does further confirm that the housewives won't be directly connected to politics. I'm still holding out hope and optimism that they'll find the trashiest rich gals in DC.

I think Real Housewives worked in ATL, OC, NJ & NYC, because the women featured were over-the-top caricatures that acted like zoo animals. In DC, most people do not act this way, which is not a bad thing-it just makesfor boring TV. However; there are several affluent immigrants living in the DC Metro area, so I'm hoping Bravo decides to case these people.

Now, if Bravo really wanted to spice things up they'd film the Real Housewives of Anacostia or SE DC. That would be something I'd pay to see.

Well not neccesarily Anacostia but maybe heading out to Upper Marlboro and filming some ghetto fabulous chicks in one of those mansions out there.

sorry there is no one Ghetto Fabulous living in Upper Marlboro, those who live in Mcmansion out there tend to be highley educated and successful multi-millionaire entrepreneurs, Like Gary S. Marray, and Bill younglbood for example and countless others. I doubt they will include any black women for this show, as much as dc has a Black upper class people outside of washington has no clue about that. The perception is that all the whites in DC are Ph'D's and all the blacks are on crack. I love how all you people who live in va and parts of mont county make fun of prince georges county and southeast DC, as if a bunch of uneducated idiots live their, I would love to see your yearly salary as well as your graduate or post graduate degree and then compare it to those ghetto fabulous people in upper marlboro and Southeast, I think you might be surprise who comes out on top

Can't wait for RHO Dallas or Houston. Now THAT will be TV worth watching. DC sounds kind of boring, to be honest. No offense, DC.

First calm down. Nobody, at least not me, is attacking Prince George's county. The ghetto fab ladies of the Atlanta show make it the best out of the four Real Housewives. So ghetto fabulous in Upper Marlboro? Sounds entertaining to me.

I just said Upper Marlboro because I know that a lot of wealthy black folks are out there. This is just a fun hypothetical. After looking at who they've talked to about being on the show, I don't think it will feature the wives of prominent black businessmen or athletes like the one in Atlanta did which is a shame. To me the perfect version of the show would reflect the diversity of this area so it wouldn't be all black or all white.

I agree that the majority of the wealthy black elite in PG county are well respected and educated people. These are people that make good friends but poor reality show stars.

I'm still holding out hope that they will find gals that are maybe not trashy but at the same time bring a lot of drama. Which makes the Real Housewives franchise work and is supposed to be the whole premise. So maybe they will be able to balance typical DC sophistication and the drama that's necessary for a show such as this to be successful and interesting.
