Don't really think he is going to make it in the "singing/song" world!
I am so happy that he won. He truly is very talented. He sings from the heart. I am not into country music but I have followed him from his first appearance and he actually brought tears to my eyes on his first performance.

Even if he doesn't make it big... He got the spotlight that he deserves.

I still don't understand how they got down to 10 finalists. They sent 6 on from the first show and (I thought 5) from the next so who dropped out? Or did the second round contestants only have a 4/10 shot of making it to the finals versus the 6/10 shot for the first show?

What they did was this..

The show normally has 4 choosen by America and the 5th one is choosen by America.

in week two of the semis there was no judge's pick.. just 4 picks from the American public so that there was a total of 10 in the finals.

yeah.. kind of stinky odds for the second set.. but it is what it is I ugess.

Thanks for answering my question. At the beginning of the show to pick the second group of finalists the host said 4 will go on but at another he said 5 (a slip of the tongue I guess). That seems really unfair to the second group.

So when and where does Kevin Skinner put on a show in Vegas? I don't think I would want to pay over $20 a ticket, if that much. He's more of a novelty or curiosity than a real talent.

For all Eli Mattson (from AGT Season 3) fans, good news! His new site Eli Mattson | Under Construction will be going live on Friday afternoon, including three new songs plus his rendition of "Walking in Memphis." I can't wait!
