Why do people hate Brett Michaels? (Lost, actresses, famous, Maine)

I don't hate Brett either. But one thing that drives me crazy is when a 45 year old tries to be cool and talk like a teenager. The "awesome" thing kills me coming from an older individual.
BINGO!!!! I would think he'd be sick and tired of this lifestyle by now!
I have to admit I don't know much but his show gets a lot of laughter and flak for how skanky it is. But When I see him interviewed he sounds well spoken, relatively intelligent.
So I'm sort of confused too. But honestly I don't care that much.
I'm not sure which specific group of women we're talking about here, but if it's from Rock of Love, none of those women are being forced to go on the show. I'd imagine most who appear on Rock of Love just want to use him for their 15 minutes of fame, which they hope will lead to something bigger. Not very nice girls, if you ask me.
As for Bret himself, I don't hate the guy, but I am kinda sick of him. I shamefully admit to buying a few Poison cassettes when I was a younger. Hey, it was the late 80s and I was a kid. I didn't know what good music was
I can still listen to a few Poison songs for fun every once in a while, but I wouldn't exactly acknowledge their music as being high quality.
I wasn't addressing the behavior of the women on the show; I was responding to the comment that BM is a "genuinely nice guy." Quite frankly, I don't care how these women behave or look, it doesn't excuse any one degrading or using them.

Well, I chose to comment about the subject of degrading anyway. They cannot be degraded if they didn't place themselves in that position. I don't think that Brett Michaels or anyone else can force these skanks to be on the show, it's their choice.

Regardless, it's no excuse for degrading them. Respect is a minimum, and there is no excuse for treating a person without respect (or referring to someone as a "skank," for that matter.) Classy.
