They're little, good for them.

I see your point, but the title of the show is "The Little Couple" so that is the focus of the show; their challenges and whatnot. "The Averaged Sized Couple and Their Average Life" wouldn't have challenges much different than the rest of us....therefore less interesting, IMO.

It's not a horrible show but I just think TLC likes to have on 'odd couples' for shock value.

Like I said, I prefer them to Little People Big World.

Reality TV is trash.
If you don't like it, then don't watch it, and don't try and tell people what to do with their lives. Here you are sitting on your computer (like a vegetable) telling people to GET OUT and LIVE A LIFE, instead being out there in the world living your wonderful life. Or is this your version of making the most of it?

The irony of it all.

I like Little People, Big World much better, simply because this guy's kind of an ass. He told his wife he would not be seen with her if she wore a certain pair of shoes that she was contemplating buying.

My god. The way I see it is, if my SO/spouse whatever likes the shoes, then I am happy for her.

I don't remember seeing them on LPBW. There was a young doctoral student on LPBW at one of the conventions, but I don't remember seeing this couple.

So the new season is back on. I still love Jenn, she is inspiring and very upbeat, in spite of the hurdles she has had to overcome.

LPBW was at one time a fairly boring married couple with kids that happened to be little. I wonder if being on TV has something like the "observer effect" that by just watching something, or putting it on TV, you change its nature.

Still it's cute and there's no kids involved, yet, which makes it less worrisome in a way. I think if I was newly married I would most definitely not want the cameras on me even for a few hours a week, (I might consider a special one-time/one-episode thing because my condition is rare and I did talk to a class once about it) but maybe they feel this is educational in a way. It's their life, etc.

I agree with you on this, reality television has caused many problems with couples. I just feel that Jenn is a breath of fresh air compared to the other people I have seen on reality television. I hope she stays herself.
