Actually, Sheldon has mentioned several times that with his IQ, it would be good if there were a child to inherit that IQ! A part of the ego that he's always displayed since the show started, I guess. It was only about the "process" of procreating that he had a problem!
Per the articles I linked to, apparently not according to Chuck Lorre.
Thank goodness. As soon as they add a baby to the show, it will be the end of it. That's what usually happens to sitcoms. I for one would stop watching for sure.
I would much rather they focus on Raj and Emily's relationship or maybe bring Stuart into the picture more.

I know...........but, still for two very intelligent people to miss birth control and deal with an unwanted (or, unplanned) baby could have a lot of "one liners".

Penny apparently spoke with him at length. Considering her promiscuity I imagine she explained what he needed to get.

On "The Mindy Project," we have seen two OB-GYNs have an unplanned baby. It really hasn't been very funny.
So, how many more seasons beyond the current season (Season 9) do you think the show has in it? I would assume only 1 or 2 more seasons, as I can't see it going past an 11th season (which would run from 2017-2018).

The show will continue as long as it's making money. Your personal opinion of the quality is irrelevant.

Seeing from the amount of advertising they get from it and how each episode is probably not even 20 minutes long, I'd say it could go on for many more years as long as Jim Parsons is willing to take a paycheck.

My post made no mention about the quality of the show. Historically, non-animated sitcoms simply don't last longer than 10 or 11 seasons. I do hope that I am wrong because I do like TBBT.
