Am I the only one who thought it didn't make sense to have Krippke there? He's not a friend, nobody even likes him. Why have him at the wedding?
It crossed my mind for about two seconds but the scene was so funny that I decided to let it go. I try not to analyze sitcoms too much. As long as they make me laugh they have served their purpose.

Maybe it was like one of those 'you have to invite everybody in the class' kind of deals and the entire department was given an open invitation. I've actually had co-workers do that for the wedding only, minus the reception.
