That's funny! In my area they must have shown this one a bunch of times. They seem to keep showing the same ones over and over here.

My family thinks I've lost my mind. I peruse our on-screen channel guide as often as I can looking for episodes of this show. I think I've become addicted.
I'm going to start dropping hints to family members... I know what I want for Christmas! Episodes.

Nothing wrong with that. I like to stay a week ahead on my favorite shows and making sure my DVR is set to record them. I usually hunt for episodes of Big Bang Theory, Top Gear, and House Hunters. I'll go through each one that's on, look at the "Info" about the show and try and figure if I've seen it before, or if I want to see it again, then set it to record. Our guide let's us see a full week, so everyday I check out the next available day and set my records. When I get home today, I'll take a look at next Sunday and see what's going to be on.

All the talk about the stairs and elevator reminds me. When the show first started, for cost saving reasons, they built just one set for the stairs and floor lobby and they had to change the props out to make each floor different for when they walked up. It was a bit of a pain for them to have to wait between each scene to do the changeout. I wonder if they ever used their huge piles of cash to build a couple more sets since then?

That is really interesting. I try to notice the different objects on the different floors as they pass by the first doors. I always figured they did that. It would make sense to keep it that way though, less tiring for the actors not having to walk up three flights of stairs I would imagine.

Anyway, the first person who spots it when he walks into a scene gets to drink a shot.
Also, look for the gear shift belt buckle. I'm not sure if he has a few different versions or if the stick actually shifts but I'm fairly sure it changes from "drive" to "neutral" or "reverse" depending on his mood.

There are a bunch of places that have the buckles and other fun stuff. Cafepress.com is one, the other is sheldonshirts.com This site also has links to other sites. You can cut and paste them and then do a search on the site for BBT - forevergeek.com/ and computergear.com too. I hope it's ok to put these on here. I don't have any connection to any of them, it's just really fun to look at what's out there.
I feel like such a dummy - I didn't notice this till you brought it up! Thanks Caladium! This makes the show even MORE fun and now I need to buy all 4 seasons! Most of the re-runs are recent. I haven't seen many from the first two seasons airing.
Oh oh oh - and this is just classic -- this site has classic sheldon lines
Season 1 Episode 3

At least now you can retrieve the black box from the twisted smoldering wreckage that was once your fantasy of dating her and analyze the data so that you don't crash into geek mountain again.

I think that you have as much of a chance of having a sexual relationship with Penny as the Hubble Telescope does of discovering at the center of every black hole is little man with a flashlight searching for a circuit breaker.

They just showed the one where Sheldon explains about Schrodinger's Cat to Penny. That's one of my favorites.

Finally saw the Zazzles episode last night. I had heard so much about this episode and it definitely lived up to the hype! Hilarious!

The Manhattan Project episode is probably my absolute favorite but there aren't any episodes I don't like!
Last night on TBS it was the one where Sheldon and Howard debate over the species of the cricket so they decide to bring it to the lab. When they walked in Raj said it was like Silence of the Lambs lol...but my favorite line was Sheldon to Raj: Interesting. You're afraid of insects and women. Ladybugs must render you catatonic.
