I tried to watch 106 and Park with my daughter and I got a headache. There is no reason for all that hollering and screaming! I watched it more when Free and AJ were on it (because DD did), but these new hosts are unbearable. Then they don't show the whole video, because it's a countdown show, so you have to hope they show enough of the video for you to identify the song. I'm not good with artist names and song titles (all of the artists bleed together for me and sound the same), but if I've heard it before I can catch the tune. |

Yes. That Tiny & Toya crap has got to be the dumbest idea for a show in the world. I cant believe they actually put that show on.
BET has gone down severely over the years. I'm glad Keyshia Cole is making an effort to prevent them from giving her mother and sister a reality show (Frankie and Neffe). I'm sure she knows how much embarrassment that would bring her and the station.
I used to watch BET a lot when I was younger, but I only watch it for College Hill. Which, I probably won't be watching anymore, due to the disappointing South Beach season. It was the most embarrassing season ever. They used to show these kids going to school and doing something right, but over the years they focused it on the drama only.
Pfttt !! a channel that should be showing Blacks in a good light, shows them in all aspects of horrible Black stereotypes.
They've produced nothing but crappy trash since their "reality show launching".
BET J is more interesting cause I get to see some real Black music (Caribbean/Jazz).

Well, hold on to your hats, because I read online that BET is going to have a reality show with Chilli (TLC) and Peppa (Salt n Peppa). Yep, it's really going downhill faster than even I could imagine!

106 & Park is basically TRL: nothing but VJ making donkeys out of themselves while showing 30 seconds of music at a time. It's not even about music practically.
Do they still play Rap City? I would love to see them go back to 2 hours of that a day. |

The only time I ever see videos is during 106. Whenever I flip past it's always a rerun of One on One or The Game or a reality show. I don't think any of the music channels really show music anymore though. |
