youtube ads are kind of annoying.

I was watching macgyver last night and today on the cbs channel. When the commercials come on, they're about 2 or 3x louder than the actual show! Brilliant. Who thinks up these things?

You have to adjust your speakers when they come on.

But the plus side, they're much shorter than regular tv commercials.

Oh, I detest the one with the spinning planets, the raindrop, the thunder/lightning, all those ones with the same theme.

Yeah! Dinner in a can, anybody? Why not just stop off at the SPAM aisle and then go get a bag or two of potato chips and dinner is served.

What a cheap skate mom and what's up with the processed food? That stuff ain't healthy! You go to the produce aisle and get some good green vegetables... and some healthy fruit. Otherwise, you might as well just make a run for the border and get Taco Bell. What a lazy cheap skate.

For awhile now, I've been sick of the Progressive insurance ads featuring Flo. I know. Men think she's hot. (Do men enjoy being talked to like they're idiots?) But that's an aside. My complaint is that this past week they began showing one of those commercials with mind-numbingly frequency. It's the one where I guy walks in and wants to know if he can "get in" on Progressive's special discounts and Flo says, in her too-cute style, "There's no discount for agreeing with me."

It's on every commercial break on every program I watch! It was on CNN about ten times this afternoon. Last night it was on Jane Valez-Mitchell three times. Tonight on Keith Olbermann's program, same deal. Then Rachel Maddow came on and on the first break, there it was again. It's not different ads for the same product -- it's the exact same ad. I actually recorded tomorrow's news programs just to be able to zap Flo.

WHY is she so popular? Seriously? Imagine how inexpensive their car insurance would be if they would just stop advertising it on TV 24/7.

New nomination - that ghastly new Peppermint Patty commercial with the girl 'shivering" and licking the "crumbs" off her lips; I just want to absolutely Gag.

I brought in the new year with an extra pep in my step as I thought for sure it would be the death of those darn Hyundai holiday commercials. Only a few mintutes ago, I was let know, via continued airing of said commercial, the toture isn't to end just yet. I still don't know what they're singing in the commercial, for some reason, I become incapible of comprehending anything they say out of pure annoyance.

Some of these are gone but here are my most hated.

John "Couger" Mellencamp's "This is ouuuuuuuuuuuur Couuuuuuuuuuuntry" truck commercials that were on every NFL game every five minutes for five years.

"Ba ba ba ba ba, I'm lovin it." No, I'm not, really.

Any jewelry commercial that coorelates a man's worth with how much money he spends on their over priced jewelry. "He went to Jared!!!!" well, he shoulda went out and banged your sister instead of you because you are a greedy, materialistic ***** that will probably divorce him in 5 years because you are "bored" and take him for everything he has.

Flo/Progressive

Five Dollar Footlongs.

Folgers Coffee. Michael Mcdonald, enough said.
