I thought the ending of Newhart was very clever. Where they woke from a dream and found that they were actually the characters from Bob Newhart's previous show The Bob Newhart Show.....

My DW and I were intrigued with how they ended St Elsewhere, one of our favorite shows in the 80's, by having it appear that the entire show was all inside the head of Dr. Westphall's autistic son. But, we both felt that the dream ending of Newhart was pretty cool.

I didn't care for the ending of MASH, especially with Hawkeye's mental problems. But it was cool how BJ spelled out the word GOODBYE with stone as it was seen when Hawkeye left the compound.

And I hated the way they ended the Sopranos. There was way too much going on in the plot stories to cut it off right where they did with a black screen.

I agree that seinfeld was a huge disappointment. the shield was good. I also enjoyed newhart.

I agree that Seinfeld's last episode was a letdown, but I thought the last Sopranos was brilliant.
