They were having a fun and lighthearted discussion of the moon landing on the radio show I listen to in the morning. Of course, that "one guy" just had to call in and go on for several minutes about how the whole thing was faked. The call basically sucked the life out of fun radio segment.

quiet walker - thanks for that post - I put it on my facebook page and a lot of friends and I watched. It was just a BIT condensed and they did throw in a few shots that were not part of the original broadcast but I loved every minute of it - I was back 40 years in time sitting in front of the TV in my parent's den - then going out to look up at the moon.

I saw an interview with NBC's Jay Barbaree yesterday talking about these ridiculous theories about the 1st moon landing being faked. He gave several undeniable reasons for how ridiculous these claims are (it was great I wished I had saved the link) One really great point he made was that there is a major reflector station on the moon's surface that several universities, scientific institutions, and even governments around the world use to bounce laser beams back and forth between earth and the moon to measure distance and other data. So if we never went, how did that get there!...LOL. Another really good one from him, he said and I'm paraphrasing here "Even if NASA somehow got over 400,000 employees and contractors to lie, the Russians and British to lie since they were tracking the flight too, many people at several other tracking stations around the world to lie, in essence if NASA somehow defied all odds and pulled off the greatest hoax in history, why would they do it 9 times!" (9 total Apollo flights to the moon). It was great, he totally blew the conspiracy folks out of the water...LOL.
