Ellen DeGeneres is one of THE BEST comedic minds to come along in a very long time. Her material, timing, delivery, wit & improvisational skills are top notch!!! Not to mention her facial expressions! Plus, like others have stated...she's real. She's not full of herself. She just has a good time on stages, and takes the audience along with her for the ride.

However, I must agree with Sunnykayak, her show did go downhill when she 'came out'. She focused too much on the lesbian issue, and it did lose it's comedic flow. She's back on top now though.

Usually when I watch her, my sides hurt and I'm in tears with laughter. She's just hillarious!!!! I also love the way she dresses. It's 'casual cool'.

I enjoy her in small doses. But I've noticed that if I have the TV on in the other room and forget to turn it off while I'm working, when her show comes on it's annoyingly loud.

Some programs make good background noise, hers does not.

I absolutely love Ellen. She is so quick witted, self deprecating and just downright funny. I live in the UK and Ellen used to be huge here and one of my favourite comedy shows ever.

I don't go for Ellen. The only talk show types I like are Conan O'Brien and Craig Ferguson. I just don't think Ellen is funny.

I like Ellen and have been to a taping of her show. We had a great time. TV does not do her justice, she is much prettier in person.

As far as the whole Iggy thing, I think she did the right thing to give Iggy to a good family instead of back to the shelter. Iggy bonded to the family and for the woman from the shelter to come under false pretenses to do a home check and then scoop up the dog and take it back was just wrong. Poor puppy will now probably take for ever to be adopted out since they took their website down and soooo many people are angry will not do business there again.

Some people say she was just acting upset and fake crying, that is just crap. Ellen is a good comedien, but great actor she is not, I don't think Ellen has a fake bone in her body. The whole thing just made me angry and ill.

I really like Ellen. She is not only funny as heck but she really stikes me as a truly nice, genuine human being.

She's okay, not one of my favorites, and hey, if I don't like her, I just don't watch her. That's why we have other channels to view. It's all relative.
