Suggestions for longest running current sitcom? Or show like Friends?
Hi--
My absolute favorite show ever is Friends, but I have all ten seasons and I know the episodes a little too well now. So, can anyone suggest a new show for me to get hooked on? I want a show that has staying-power or has been around for a while (it should be currently running). Any ideas?
Thanks!

This doesn't quite suit your "currently running" criteria, but I suggest renting the BBC series "Coupling." The whole series is only about 25 episodes, but IMO it puts "Friends" to shame.

I can't suggest a currently running sitcom because all the one's currently running are no good. The last good sitcom was Will and Grace. When that went off the air nothing was left.
The only sitcom I currently watch is The Office but I'm not sure if that's your type of show. Most people either love it or hate it. No in between.

Probably one of the greatest TV shows of all time. The writing on that show is pure genius.

I second the motion on the Simpsons. This fall marks it's 20th year and it's showing no signs of slowing down or getting stale. When this show finally airs it's last episode it'll leave Gunsmoke in the dust as longest running TV show of all time
