Personally I think it already has - why else so may passive types on this last show? Cuz all the aggressive leader types get voted off as threats and pain in the a**s..
And the meek shall inherit the earth......or at least he million

Kind of like people still haven't learned that at the beginning of the game, the SUREST way to be the first person voted out is to assert yourself and try to become a dominant leader...
The show kind of negated that angle by voting on "leaders" at the beginning, but that's how it used to go.... You started barking orders and acting all indispensible and you were gone in the first tribal council....

And that was HIS fatal flaw. Almost the exact opposite of Russell's...
Colby figured that by taking Tina it would underscore to the jury what a just player he was that he was willing to take the most deserving person with him to the finals..... He trusted the jury to then, do the right thing and they didn't...
Same thing with Russell in reverse really..... He took two people who he figured the jury could NEVER vote for because they were essentially accomplices to his "evil plots" and had the same blood on their hands as he did, but in the end he underestimated the human element of the game and the fact that the jury would respect the strategy of essentially letting someone do your dirty work FOR you....
Eric was right, that IS a strategy...
I was rooting for Russell right up until they were in camp as the final three and he was arrogantly telling Nat and Mick how it was going to go down and that they should be working on their speeches, etc, etc...
To basically be good with these people for that long and then be a complete D!CK to them at the end really underscored what an arse he is... Glad he didn't win....

I agree with Jeff -- If Russell had remembered that this is a social game as well as one of strategy. If the goal was to get to the end Russell played it to perfection. But when you need the vote of the very people who wanted to be in your position, a little tact and diplomacy goes a long way.
And the I deserve it argument doesn't work in the real world: if it did teachers, firefighters and police officers would make 6 figures as well as the people who do hard manual labor, not the CEOs.

stoymonkey I don't have any idea where you can get a copy of the 1st season sorry.
To all my fellow Survivor fans just wanted to tell y'all Merry Christmas, if you celebrate it, and be safe if you're traveling.
Now wonder if Santa is bringing me Dimples in real life.

Russell did things that went above and beyond outwit and out play. I think it was Jaison who mentioned that there was no game strategy in pouring out canteens of water or burning people's socks. And wasn't it Russell who set the chicken free?
Those were acts of just plain meanness and arrogance. He just couldn't see and probably still doesn't see how actions like that could have cost him the title and money. Gaining your teammates respect is also part of the game.
