I think there was one season when the jury was 10. I'm having too many senior moments to remember which season it was, though.

If you watch the opening can't you kind of tell who's going to be around by who they show in the clips? Or did they start to mix that up? I thought I saw one of the dark haired girls with some face paint on that I hadn't seen in an episode yet.
Jury - starts after the merge right? Seems a lot of the seasons start with different numbers and who knows exactly when the merge comes (didn't one season get down to one person on one of the sides? that cute girl with the dimple?) so I think the numbers of the jury varies a little.
At least Russell admitted he was a little lost in the whole new game. Might help him realizing he needs to rethink vs. everyone else who just seems to stumble along till a thought hits them randomly.
As for Erik - Tribal Council must be hours long where they get everyone to spill their guts and then when they edit they show the person who ended up being voted out talking the most. Because it sure seems its always the person who runs their mouth the most that gets the boot. Which makes it look less meditated "oh, so and so just made me mad I'm going to vote for them".
I wonder if they have to sign a contract saying they will talk at Tribal because I for sure wouldn't ever say more than a few neutral words or two!

We had that same discussion about the jury too. Maybe 9 on the jury with three finalists? I actually prefer two finalists to three, but guess we'll see what happens.

I think anyone who may have been on the fence about voting out Erik may have decided to vote for him because of his nastiness to Jaison. His comments about Jaison were really mean although I have to admit what he said was mostly true.
Poor old Russell seems to have gotten his comeuppance. He panicked and played his immunity idol when he didn't have to. Now he is totally fair game. I think he was the reason Foa Foa did so badly in the challenges. He manipulated the casting off of some better challenge players on his team.

Also when the girls found out he wanted Laura gone then Monica they still have the numbers to pick off somebody else. I agree Russell got rid of some very good players for challenges.

I think a seed was planted that Galu was going to pick off Foa Foa and he showed so many he had the II. It got around camp so they wanted to flush it out and they knew Eric had the other one. They got both II at one tribal council. Russell was right to play it though to many sit on it and get voted out having it in their pocket.
Actually I *think* Russell really thought he was the target but by playing the II it would have voted out the next person with the highest votes. He knew some were going to vote Eric so that was his target. He could have gone down in Survivor history as the first to find an II without any clues and for actually playing it at tribal like it was intended to be used.

So Eric had the other II but was so c ocky that he didn't use it and got voted out? Blindsided to boot? Another priceless moment. Did your Dimples say anything about my Dreamy Eyes finding the II without any clues?
