I can't believe Russell played the immunity idol! I was shocked especially when his tribe rallied around him. He has been so smart the entire time, and this was the stupidest move!
I don't think Shambo has enough sense to know when to flip. She has this lost look in her eyes. Like she doesn't even have a clue. She is the one who could really change their standing the game, but I don't think she will.
I ended up catching part of this week's episode after all. Missed the idol thing and some other critical parts, though.
I agree with whichever of you said it's stupid to get voted out with the idol in your pocket. Or, at least, it would feel pretty bad LOL.
Shambo is an odd case. She's capable with practical matters but doesn't have a lot of people sense. So it seems thus far, anyway. I'm not expecting big things from her in terms of strategy.

I hope this week is more interesting. I have some fear that it will just sink into yawn-dom again now that the merge is over. That last boot sure was fun
