Some of the larger scale stuff he does is too much for me... I prefer his smaller scale tricks.
I actually had the privelage of seeing him about 8 years ago, when he had his own theater in Times Square. There were maybe 10 tables around a "runway" style stage, so everyone had a great view. He did card tricks, and made things disappear and reappear from our tables. He even picked me from the audience to go up and do a knife throwing trick with him! I like those kinds of tricks better, when you are up close and personal. The larger scale ones, like levitating from the Luxor hotel, you just have to chalk up to being "Hollywood Special Effects" and can't appreciate as much.
