I swear I just watched episode one (again) to see if I wanted to watch the entire series...we've decided to postpone...BUT... in episode one, Tony climbs over to the driver seat (while nephew is chasing after a guy who owes money) and he is chasing the guy with the car...hits him...gets out of the car and continues to pound him into the ground!
The recent death of James Gandolfini has revived talk about The Sopranos. I only glanced a few peaks at it and didn't like what I saw. I am half Italian-American (although one from the small-town South) and am sensitive to the portrayal of people of that ethnicity. I also don't relate to the culture of the urban East. In other words, The Sopranos was not to my taste. Of course, most television nowadays is geared toward a more cynical and worldly audience than there was in decades past.
I'm not sure if that's the scene I was talking about.
That's funny...ol' Tony Soprano probably hit more than one guy with his car, got out, and started pounding a guy. Well, I gave you one scenario...sorry I cant' help you with possible others.
They showed a clip last night where Tony bumped some guy with his car, then got out and started pounding him in front of some office building. What episode was that?
I thought I've seen them all; maybe not.
I think that was actually in the pilot/first episode. Tony and Chris are chasing down a guy who owes him money and Chris chases him on foot and Tony hits him with Chris' car.
On the note of the Sopranos pilot--I was re-watching the first episode and it was funny how young everyone looked(AJ looks like he's about 11)... And it's weird(and sad now) to think James Gandolfini was in his late 30s when they started filming that show.

Even though as a retired Forensic Scientist I help put members of the AC/Phila Mob in jail, I am not totally up on the mob organization.
I am still in season one...... Christopher is burning to be a "made man". In organized crime sense, what does it mean to be "made" and how does it happen??
