The season opener was good but there was a giant plothole that I couldn't ignore. At the end of the show she said they couldn't do anything about the pardon unless someone "knew" the Governor. As the DA of NYC, McCoy has access to the Governor and probably could have got it done.
Maybe that was just part of her character being a you know what. She could've done something to help but she wasn't concerned enough to care. Or maybe the writers didn't know that as DA she would've had access to the governor. Although like I said it would really fit her character to know how to help and just not care.

But I liked her and I'm kinda sad to see her go. Her character really shook things up. I really get into this show and my mom does too. She came up from Georgia to visit last weekend and the last thing we did before she caught her flight was watch this episode on my ipod. Funny who knew a show about a naked woman being beaten to death with a hammer could be such a sweet bonding moment between mother and son.

LOL, terrence, should we be concerned about you or Mom? J/K Seems like both of you are real SVU fans and whatever bonds is good!

Agreed! When are they going to retire this tired show! It's the same show every week with different characters. Same twist, same plot, the first hunch is never right, always takes the same turn.

It seems like they might be building up towards Stabler having some kind of breakdown, too. Every week he seems to be more and more put upon and beset on all sides.
