Default Jon & Kate + 8 Cancelled

The Superficial - TLC pulls the plug on Jon & Kate Plus 8

Maybe they can salvage what little of relationship they had.

Their 15 minutes are up.

Good Lord, it's about time. They'll be filing bankruptcy in a year, no doubt!

Good.

Now maybe, and that's pusing it, these two self-absorbed "adults" can get their heads out of their rears for a few minutes and realize just how bad they've messed up and how this will, indeed, effect their children unless they get it together.

And I hope TLC stops playing the first few shows as they have taken on to doing lately. It's very sad to watch a marriage fall apart. And TLC does not need to run the older shows but it is for ratings.

Thank God. Neither were doing it for their kids anymore and someone had to put a stop to it. Thankfully the TLC producers realized that this is a train wreck and what started out as a show about a great big family and adorable kids has turned into a never-ending stream of company plugs and media hogging parents who are not even a fraction of the decent people they started out as. J&K will continue to make the rounds...Kate seems to want to be on tv a lot...but I am keeping my fingers crossed that in a few years, they'll be a distant memory. Time to get a real job and realize that instead of buying a mansion, you should have put some of that money away for a rainy day. Kate can go back on the Today show and talk about her "liquid" money ($200K) that Jon stole so she can't pay her bills (then turn around and talk about the 8-diamond ring she is going to buy with a mother-of-pearl). I get a little annoyed at someone crying over having $200,000 unavailable to "pay bills."

I would wish them ill-fortune, but that would affect the kids, so while I certainly am giddy over their having to become "regular people" again, I do hope that their kids will be okay.

It was hard to work up any sympathy for someone who claims to be a tightwad but has $55,000 in bills a month to pay.

I saw that interview as she said "I can't put food on the table for my kids". Yet,she states she has a month worth of food in the pantry on the show all the time. What meal costs $200,000?. It was hard to shed a tear.

They didn't need the $1 million home.

They didn't need to send their children to uber expensive schools.

They didn't need to go on vacations b/c it was free.

They needed to work on their marriage and take care of their kids.

Perhaps I'm reading it wrong, but, it looks like the show is still going ahead just delayed.

I know Jon and Kate couldn't care less, but do they think anyone likes them anymore? END THE FREAKING SHOW!!!

I love their book. It's "God this and God that", when in reality, all they care about is the benjamins.
