Default Six Feet Under - my favorite show - what do you think?

I recently completed viewing the entire show on DVD. I am ashamed to admit here just how quickly I did it, too

something about this show really hit home for me - I know it has its gross and morbid moments, but that's what makes it work.

I personally feel that the last 10 minutes or so of the series was the best 10 minutes of TV I have seen, ever.

I'd love to hear from other fans - who's your favorite character? why? favorite episodes?

My favorite character is Brenda. I truly disliked her the first couple of seasons, yet came around full circle by the end. I also really understood Clare (yikes).

My favorite episode, other than the finale... I'll have to think about that.

The series finale of Six Feet Under was the best series finale, period. Wrapped everything up and served it on a silver platter. No questions about what happened.

OMG it was the best -- Claire is my fave -- some of her moments from one of the last episodes: (watch language)

My fave opening 'death sequence':

And the finale (agreed, best TV ending ever):

Seeing Claire at the end with all her photographs ... just perfect. Still makes me choke up.

Clare's photos... OH... choking up... me too. The last song is "breathe" by Sia - I only know this as I immediately ordered the "Six Feet Under" cd's - both seasons!

The music was also a big part of this series... did a lot to set the mood etc. so it was nice to get the compilation. Granted, some of it wasn't as good without the accompanying visuals.

Lakewooder, thanks for the links.

LOL, yeah, that was a good one too... One of those urban legend type things...

I have to admit I was a little grossed out by the woman who was standing up in the limo and got, well, smushed by the sign....
