I know it's off subject, but do you have a good crabcake recipe?

I didn't expect to like The Unit, but it's one of my all time favorites.

Veronica Mars was another. I thought it was going to be another lame, fake take on Nancy Drew. Much to my surprise I ended up being (I think) the only person in America who loved it and was bummed when they cancelled it.
I've seen several people online who liked "Veronica Mars." I never saw it. What channel did the show it on? Do they show it anywhere now?

When I was pregnant on bedrest I discovered "3 and a Half Men" watching all the old episodes in syndication - I LOVE it! It is so raunchy, funny, and Charlie Sheen is apparently playing himself, I now watch the regular episodes. Same for "Frasier" which I discovered while I was in night school. I would come home around 11ish and it would be on for an hour. I think I have watched every episode, know all the characters, their love lives, who fathered Roz's daughter, never saw Maris, - its funny cause I would see the previews when it was still on regular tv and thought how crazy boring it looked.

Today I just discovered "Everybody Hates Chris" on BET - that show is hilarious! Chris Rocks narration is great and the characters are so believable - especially the Mom!

There are a few shows that come to mind:

Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D List
Parking Wars
The Real Housewives (of Orange County, particularly--I don't love it, but I don't hate it as I originally thought)
Survivor
Big Brother

I didn't expect to like Desperate Housewives, as I though the show was purely for women. To my surprise, I love it and think this is largely because of how well written the show is. The show fundamentally is about good people, who are flawed, and often make bad decisions. You always want to see them come through though, because in the end you know they are good people.

"My Name Is Earl" doesn't look like a show I would like. But I saw it recently and I do like it. Go figure.

I believe it's actually by a guy. A gay guy, but still a guy.

Lost.

I missed the first two years because I thought it was probably stupid. Then one of the kids found the those seasons online. I watched the first episode and was totally hooked!! It will remain one of my most favorite shows ever.
