Smile A-Team Then and Now.

"I love it when a plan comes together," is the signature line of Col. Hannibal Smith, the leader of "The A-Team," a colorful unit of former Special Forces soldiers who were set up for a crime they did not commit.

I remember at the time "the A-Team" was criticized for being overly violent. Now when I watch rerun episodes on TV they seem tame. After all, in all those episodes it was rare for anyone to be actually shot and with all the car crashes, the victims always crawled out.
I am one who is against using names of old movies or shows for new productions. Why don't they just write in all new characters instead of trying to ruin the reputations of the original characters?

I just watched A-Team today on RTV (Retro Television Network) - it is pretty tame by today's standards.
