Pick Your Parents
Lots of good fun TV parents to pick from.....but I think I would pick Charles and Carolyn on Little House on the Prairie. They never yelled or spank their kids...but yet the kids are good and respectful The parents are all understanding and full of wisdom.
This doesn't seem to pan out in real life....but it is an interesting concept.

Donna Reed for a mom, and Cliff Huxtable for a dad. Picture the family dynamics from this unit.
Donna was sweet, patient, pretty, trusting, and loving (and an actress I always admired, I'll admit). Cliff is more wise about the ways of the world, consistent, and manages to find macabre humor in most everything.
