um, yea well she may as well not have any guest then. She may as well sit her fat, diva azz on the set and talk about her favorite topic-herself.

Any celebrity, book author, business owner, etc who gets to sit on her stage (even if they don't get to say an effing word) knows that they are instantly able to sell more books, sell more CDs, sell more movie tickets or sell more widgets just by being on her stage.

so, I tuned in today for the last 15 minutes or so because that's about all I can stomach of Oprah and I wanted to see Debbie Boone. Debbie still looks so young and is gracious and can sing beautifully. I about spit my drink out though when the camera(of course!!) panned to the Oprah who was singing or mouthing the words and she looked like a doofus azz.

Wow, for someone who thinks Oprah is a doofus and a "fat diva azz" you sure do land on her show a lot.

Umm.....right.

But back on topic.....Oprah's final season has been fantastic so far and I can not wait for the debut of her OWN network. I guess that will just be more haterade for the envy parade.

I got nothin. Sorry but I never saw what Oprah's popularity came from. It sure isn't talent or the ability to interview.

I for one am happy that Oprah's off the Network and on to her own so that someone else can have a shot at providing some quality daytime television that isn't a Judge show or the View. Even soaps were better filler than Oprah's drivel.

I used to watch Oprah up till the season after she gave those cars away. He shows are just boring now. As a black woman I do not expect her to cater to me but sometimes I do want her to address something I can relate to. She fawns all over Julia Roberts and John Travolta and not Angela Bassett, or Don Cheadle. I like her shows with Gayle, I feel she comes back down to Earth when Gayle is around. Some season back she did a series on couples dealing with debt--I enjoyed that series. Can't take any more of her shows about abused women and kids.

Guys, this thread is for discussing episodes of the final season of the Oprah show. Likely it will include 'some' dissent and comments about Oprah herself. However, for a debate about Oprah herself or just straight up bashing of her, please direct your comments to this other thread Oprah ending talk show

Thanks in advance for letting those of us who want to talk about the episodes keep this thread going.

BTW, did anyone see the Martha Stewart episode? OMG it was pretty funny. Oprah was on the attack and kept bringing up Martha's jail time. I was surprised how likable I found Martha to be. For me, Oprah's tactics backfired and made Martha look better instead of worse!
