Default Men of A Certain Age Thread

Anyone else looking forward to this? It's debuting tonight 10/9 central on TNT. On top of the marketing company I work for picking up the campaign, I have seen Ads about it all over the place.

Men of A Certain Age(MOACA) is about is 3 friends entering their middle age– and all of the changes and challenges that go along with that. It stars Ray Romano, Scott Bakula and Andre Baugher. I have been a big fan of Ray Romano since his ELR days and Scott Bakula since Quantum Leap, I also remember Andre Baugher from Glory and more recently, CSI Miami.

Figured I'd get the ball rolling on a thread here since it's probably going to be one of the big new shows this season.

I can't wait to check it out after the Closer(one of my favorite shows).

For those who haven't checked it out the trailer is at TNT's website here (http://youcastcorp.com/r/tntmoaca - broken link).

Well my thinking is that it will be a nice show to watch after the closer, also it will be cool to see Ray Romano in a semi-serious role stretching his acting chops, a effort I think he's up to. The TNT website really breaks down what we can expect in the show.

I don't know why, but I have the feeling this is going to suck. Just a bad feeling. Anyway at least we get some new episodes of "The Closer" out of its normal season.

Well its certainly nice to see something being made for a slightly older set. I'm pretty tired of the youth mindless sex sex sex thing.
Even though I'm female I think I will like this because it sounds like people thinking, asking questions.

Maybe we women may find out that men are more like us than we think??

I just finished watching it and I liked it a lot. It has just the right mix of humor and pathos.

Even if I didn't like it I would watch it for the music because the soundtrack was good in this first episode.

Yes it was I'm going to be watching. I wish they didn't have to do the buzzkiller possum thing in the first episode
