I'm glad Ryan has a job. I'm glad his parents told him that he needs to finalize a parenting plan through the court system, so his parents can have Bentley on Ryan's days.
So having a child is an excuse to just be flat out lazy? Cause come on that is what Maci is. What a joke. This girl gets paid to be on this show. You can do college classes online. Put Bentley in pre school go to your college classes while he is in school. After that he should be ready for a nap so she can do household stuff or home work. I have a child the same age as Maci's. Most toddlers go to bed around 8pm. There is some more time to do some homework. I mean does Bentley even have any kind of daily routine? It doesn't appear that way.

I think it is sad you think her child is an excuse to be lazy. Come on at most she would need to go classes 3-4 hours a day. Most normal adults go to work for 8 hours a day. Especially single mothers. Her life does not depict what being a single mother actually is. She lacks any kind of motivation. I just can't even believe you would say her child is an excuse for not accomplishing anything. Maybe I should call my boss on Monday and say I am not coming to work---being that I have a kid I guess that is a excuse to not work.

Add me to the list of people amazed that having a child is supposedly an excuse to be lazy.

Ryan has Bentley 2 days of the week (plus I believe 1 day every other week). She can't get her homework done on those 2 days? Or while he was asleep at night? She did take him to daycare while she was going to school, and she did have her parents available to watch him (her Mom did in Season 1 while she was working and at school), but she decided to move 2 hours away from her support system so she could live near her boyfriend (and 2 hours away from school). See a pattern there?

Also Kyle is living with her and unemployed right now, he can most certainly watch Bentley while she goes to school, considering he has nothing else to do and is living in her house

How many credits? She's been in school for 2 years now and only have something like 8 credits completed. She's constantly dropping/failing classes and using Bentley as an excuse.

In real life, a child most certainly is not an excuse to not work or go to school. That could be one of the most ridiculous things I've ever read. She needs to be able to provide for her child, she doesn't get to do nothing simply because she squirted out a kid. Being a SAHM is something you plan for, when you have one parent financially stable enough to provide for an entire family, while the other parent stays home.

And would it kill her to feed bentley something not frozen, considering she's basically a SAHM right now? Uncrustables are the grossest thing, ever.

Maci is using Bentley as an excuse as to why she can't get her schooling done. She seemed to have a great support system at home where her mother could watch Bentley. I wonder why she hasnt put him in daycare so she can get her homework done etc.. Atleast Farrah has finished school, she has indeed come along way from 16 & pregnant till now.

I finally finished this weeks episode, I agree that Farrah is turning out to be a great parent. I still hate the way she treats her parents, but hopefully as she gets older she mellows out. (I doubt it, but it would be great if she did.)

From what I saw Maci dropped some of her classes, but not all of them. It sounded like she went from 16 to 8 credits this semester, not that she has 8 credits total. I honestly don't know why she would pick up 16 credits in the first place, that's insane. That being said, public speaking is such an easy course I wouldn't have dropped it. But I don't think she's being lazy, at least not from what I interpreted which is her going from 16 to 8 credits this semester. When she had the courses pulled up on her computer screen it looked like she had at least 5 classes that she was enrolled in. When I was in school I did 16 one semester and I was single and it was HARD, you'd have to be some sort of super mom in order t handle 16 credits in one semester.

I'm going to be honest, I don't think Ryan likes being on TV. I don't think he likes the show, I don't think he likes the cameras hanging around, he just seems so uncomfortable all the time.

Caitlynn and Tyler are boring, but I can't believe she was practically bragging about her 68.

I fast forwarded through Amber and Gary... I can't stand either one of them.

I finally got around to reading this weeks episode.

Farrah: While I think it is telling what her professors at culinary school told her (from two weeks ago), and she is incredibly disrespectful to her parents, she does seem to do a good job as a mom to Sophia.

Maci: she seems to have a hard time getting things together. I find two things telling related to her storyline. At one point she mentions how she wants to have her degree completed, and on the other she talks about how much she hates school. The other telling thing was when Ryan's parents are talking to him about joint custody and how it is important for him to make sure Bentley is there for important dates like his mothers birthday..

OK, one more thing that I cannot for the life of me figure out is why the H$$$ Amber needed a new place because Leah could not stay where she currently lives. I remember seeing the cameras scan the apartment and Leahs crib was filled with junk and other assorted crap. What is the problem with cleaning up her old place. Furthermore, how freaking long does it take to get the new place in order.
And I find it telling too that Amber is not included in any of the after shows so far, unless of course I missed something because I don't pay too close attention to those.

No one likes school. I hated school but I got my degree, so it is what it is. With all that money she's making, she could afford to send Bentley to a pre-school or daycare of some sort. In the mean time, she can study or do her homework. This isn't difficult, if she were living off food stamps, OK, but she's making bank..

But if you looked at the screen she had at least 5 classes when she went to drop 3, she probably has 8 credits left which means she is still in school.

Sure she could put her child in pre-school or daycare, but it's also not unreasonable of her to take 8 credits and spend time with her child. She's still doing school AND taking care of her son. I'm not a big fan of Maci but I don't see her dropping some of her classes as something she should be criticized for considering that she's still in school and working towards her degree.

Most everyone at one point or another drops classes while in college.

But she's doing it every time, and her boyfriend is of no help. He doesn't have a job and when she says she's thinking about dropping classes, he's like "hurry up then." WTF? What kind of support is that? If I were in his shoes, I'd take care of Bintley and she can go to school BOOM, problem solved.

She is still going though. She has her faults, but this isn't one of them. Just because she's choosing to not finish school as quickly as you did or how you think she should doesn't mean there's something wrong with her. She really shouldn't have put herself into so many classes in the first place.

And it's always easy to say "if I were in their shoes"... but until you are you really have no idea what you're talking about.

So how can Farrah finish her Associates and Maci can't? What's Maci's excuse then? She's lazy.
