According to Wikipedia, "charges against Portwood have been filed, and she is facing a criminal punishment of up to 3 years of prison, in addition to losing custody of her daughter, Leah."

So it's official. Charges have been filed! Now, while I doubt Amber will get the maximum punishment, I hope they'll at least think of Leah and remove her from that home.

You know what disgusts me? Reading the various comments on various sites, and seeing these teenagers stating that Gary deserved to be beaten because he "provoked" it.

It makes me very worried for the young generation if they honestly believe that Gary deserved to be beat.
