I also read that Elton John is being considered.

I'm sure they WANT him. It's probably more of an issue of him wanting to do it or not.

I think Elton would be great. He's definitely a man who tells it like it is.

I just can't understand why it has to be someone Brittish. Piers Morgan. Elton John. Simon Cowell.

I'm tired of the Brittish invasion that is happening in our media and corporations.

Piers Morgan doesn't even have a music background.

The tenth year is going to flop.
The reason Simon Cowell worked so well isn't because of his directness or his snark, but because everyone knew he was saying those things because it was his label that would be signing the winner and he was going to have to work with them. That's why in a 4-way tie, his vote carried more weight and was actually a tie breaker. Without that aspect in play, the judging loses something that separated this show from many of the others.

Talking The Diamond surfaces

Earlier in an AI post I criticized "America's Got Talent". In spite of many hair brain acts they passed through they have resurrected the show with an Electrical outdoor performance and a young girl with an absolutely beautiful voice and sings so effortlessly you might suspect it was dubbed. Hat's off to AGT Producers' and Judges' whom I suspect had something to do with such a refreshing turnaround. I'm glued again. Thank You.

I just heard that little girl sing on the news tonight. She's from my city.

It's hard to believe that voice is coming from that little girl. I hope she's able to keep her voice as it changes through the years.

I've never watched AGT, but I might tune in to cheer for the fourth grader from my hometown now that I've heard her sing.
