Well - perhaps they have to choose a few to be booted off right away...

Who was the contestant with the crooked smile?
I heard Simon say it was a mistake to let her go and I felt she did great on her last try.
Sad to see her go, I really like her voice and felt she just needed to overcome her nervousness.

have to say that the final elimination episodes were painful to watch and i'm really not that excited about this season ... there definitely is a nasty side to this program and each year you can see the hooks of the industry kind of get more and more intertwined

i knew right away that tim urban was going to make the program - mainly because we only saw him sing like two time, he was horrible on both and received maximum oral pleasure from the judges

the other main travesty was angela not making it through while the not so great young chick with the lisp sailed on in .... i mean, really?!

A very disappointing start - none of the girls really delivered and knocked it out of the park. Some chose bad songs and a lot of them were clearly suffering from nerves. Even someone with the best voice in the world would sound bad if they were a bundle of nerves - it makes your voice shaky and off-pitch. When the nerves take over the singer loses control of their voice.

I don't know why they're saying a girl will probably win this season. I think the guys as a whole are better and will kick butt next week.

I was rather impressed with Ellen. She is actually a pretty good judge.

Haeley Vaughn needs voted off immediately. She is aweful!

I can't believe they gave her a spot in the top 24 when there were more talented people they didn't chose.

Is it just me or was the performance of "I want to hold your hand" just awful? I don't remember the name of the girl who did it, but I thought that arrangement was horrible and it just didn't sound good.
Didn't she say earlier she wanted to be a country/western singer? I didn't understand her song choice or arranging it that way. I thought what I'd seen of her earlier was good, but that was just not.

Ugh. None of the women impressed me at all last night. My prediction to go: Ashely, Lacey, or Hailey.

Thumbs up I was just about to give my opinion on last night's show

I think so far we're all in agreement about the girls' performances last night, but TAO summed it up the BEST for me ! What a huge SNOOZEFEST ! And if Simon feels that it's the GIRLS season this year, then maybe it is time that he left the show !

BYE BYE Simon - don't let the door hit you where the Good Lord split you (lol) !!! Nawwww, JK - I still think Simon keeps the show real .

p.s.
I can't give you any more rep right now TAO as I knocked you off of '666' recently and I need to give some more out . OHHHH - I take that back , I can give you rep again !!!
