Twilight Zone marathon...just saw "Nothing in the Dark"....old woman afraid of death not realizing
Robert Redford is "death".....saw it when I was a young teenager, now I'm 70.... how fast time passes.
Way to many Commercials this year. Had to turn it off mid way though because it was driving me crazy
"Free" media, radio and TV alike, has been ruined by commercial excess.
I mean, there was a time quite a few years back when it was bad, but still debatable as to whether a monthly cable bill bought sufficient entertainment value to justify it. Those days are long gone. I get a basic cable package (that I hardly ever watch) as part of my rental, but I wouldn't give them a nickel for it if I had to subscribe and pay for it separately. I can't imagine why anyone would.

Can't remember the name of that episode
"To Serve Man" has gotta be among just about everyone's favorites. I'll never forget the first time I saw it.
I put "The Howling Man" right up there with it, closely followed by "Valley of the Shadow", "Long Live Walter Jameson", and "The Thirty Fathom Grave".
I think I probably mentioned earlier in this thread that I had a book that was the collection of short stories Rod Serling bought to adapt for the first season of TZ.
To this day, The Howling Man remains one of the most-brilliantly-written short stories I have ever read.
