I was thinking about some strange cartoons I watched as a kid and thought up the thread. I disliked YOGI BEAR and MAGILLA GORILLA and GEORGE OF THE JUNGLE and QUICKDRAW MAGRAW.
I KINDA "hated": LIDSVILLE; H R PUFNSTUF and THE BANANA SPLITS. How about you; there must have been a few horrible cartoons when you were growing up?
This might be splitting hairs, but half the shows you mentioned weren't cartoons. I liked almost all the cartoons when I was a kid. When I look at them now, I wonder why. Very few actually hold up.

I didn't like any of the Hanna-Barbera cartoons (with the exception of Flintstones). Too noisy and they used the same sound effects over and over...even my 8 year old self noticed.
I preferred Warner Brothers cartoons!
Everything on the USA Cartoon Express...Devlin, Troll Town, Inch High Private Eye...they were all kinda crappy but I didn't discriminate. And the cartoons that came on really early on Saturdays, before the quality stuff kicked off around 7am. Stuff like Grape Ape, Snagglepuss, Captain Caveman & a wide variety of other crummy Hanna-Barbera productions.
