Best laugh of the night was when Ricky Gervais introduced Mel Gibson.

"I've had a couple (of drinks), I'm not going to lie to you," he said. "I like a drink as much as the next man, unless the next man is Mel Gibson."

Then Mel walks out and the crowd goes wild... it was priceless!

Kevin Bacon won for "Taking Chance." He gave a great performance in a great movie. I was happy he won.

I usually don't dig award shows too much, but found myself watching this one last night with my wife - was fairly enjoyable and was nice to see some love go to dexter, jeff bridges and some others that I really enjoy

I only watched for about an hour because I had to go to bed early... But I enjoyed it, it was not going on and on and on, it was lively and not al all boring!
