This show has already been on several seasons but has never featured a non white bachelor. They all pretty much look the same from season to season. Will there ever be a Latino, Asian or Black, mixed race Bachelor? Is America that racist?

Come over to the Atlanta forum there must be 10 threads entitled "Where have all the single black men gone", maybe there just aren't any. Just kidding, your right though there really is no reason not to have a non white bachelor. I do think they had an Italian bachelor (Prince something?) but I guess thats pretty much white. I'd say it's over due.

So far, they haven't found a non white person with low enough standards of behavior.

I guess the producers think that having non-white contestants makes up for it.

Yeah may be Ray Jay or Flava Flav were too busy working on their shows over on VH1?

Is this really an issue? ABC would probably put on someone who was orange from eating too many carrots if they thought it would make them money.

Skip it and choose to turn the television off.

Next thing I'll hear is a Greatest Looser show for winners.

ABC has likely done market research and they know the demographics of who watches this show and what they like.

I can almost guarantee that the majority of the audience is 25-55 year old middle class white women.

The closest thing they have had to a minority is the Italian prince from a few seasons ago and that was like their lowest rated season.
