Taylor can't let it go because as much as she wants help and wants to talk about it, she still doesn't want to "lose" what she THINKS she has (money, things, money, things). She says it often: that she was poor growing up in Oklahoma and now has a "fabulous life" (or however she puts it) and lives in "beverly hills", etc. She doesn't want to give up the "stuff" and "the lifestyle" and is afraid (remember she told Kyle she was afraid of being alone? more like she's afraid of not having "stuff" and not being able to throw lavish parties for her pre-schooler)

...and all the while they actually had no money or things they actually owned. Fakes. Fakes. Fakes.

In fact someone asked Taylor on WWHL why she spent $60,000 on a birthday party and she admitted that she didn't pay that much. That's the thing about these parties. Remember the scene where Taylor and Dana go to taste the cake? That's just for the bakery's benefit. Then she can get the cake for free. I bet Ace was free as well.

Bethenny comped most of her wedding. In fact that's what got Star fired from The View. She comped her wedding and started comping everything in her life and Barbara told her to hit the road.

When I watch these shows I watch for all the product placement. Watch how they are shown shopping in a certain store, eating at a restaurant, the psychics, even Adrienne's husband is showcasing his business by giving the ladies a night of beauty, or Adrienne's shoes that were shown tonight. Rachel Zoe's push present couldn't be a total comp but I bet Rodger got a healthy discount.
Absolutely! I look for "product placement", too. Also, when they go somewhere, you will notice they flash the store or restaurant's logo several times. Local businesses LIVE for this type of thing ---- free advertising on national television on a popular show. They will get TONS of business because people will want to buy from them because "so and so from _____ show shops/eats/goes there"

Yep. And that's why Taylor had to go on her "media tour" after Russell killed himself. She had to make money somehow --- did she ever write a book? I thought she said that somewhere along the line?

how insane to even have a "theme party" where you hire a porn star to teach the women how to give BJs
I was watching Kyle's face for her reaction cuz didn't the book House of Hilton state that Kyle and Kim's mother actually hired someone to give the Richards sisters similar lessons to help them land rich husbands?

As for no shoe-showing Loubou knockoff creating Adrienne I thought I heard that the Maloofs barely own The Palms anymore so I had to do some sleuthing. Her fashion show was held on June 10. Reports of The Palm's restructuring deal being finalized that would leave her family with a 2% ownership down from 85% popped up a week later and I'm sure that deal wasn't just tossed together in a few days. By the party she had to know this so why the stink to Lisa about what she would do for Pandora when she basically no longer controlled the place?
Who bought/restructured/pulled the hotel out of the 8-9 figure debt incurred when her family was at the helm? The same group that owns Planet Hollywood Hotel. Ha!
I want to be Lisa when I grow up complete with her figure and her wardrobe only with a little less pink and none of the dog toting. Someone on the staff likes her to clarify the not friends/best friends comment and then again with the cotton candy deep thr0ating by Taylor.

The way he spoke to Dana at that party and the look on his face? Scary. And did you happen to catch Taylor in the background? She looked scared.

and you know what--Dana looked afraid too and backed down. I can't see myself backing down to someone like that. The big, bully jerk. He needed someone to stand up to him.

I believe it. I read a very long story (maybe a book?) about "big Kathy" somewhere and was shocked and disgusted at her behavior.

I am now tired of reading all this talk about Taylor of this board. Many of you who are writing these critical, rubbish tripe have probably never had your domestic issues being masqueraded to the public. I bet you would all love for people to trash you someday when you're at your lowest point, when you're sitting all day crying because the spouse had punched you in your face and broke your jaw. Taylor was doing a commendable job of holding herself together in good appearance in front of friends and family while going through these issues inside her household that we never knew about until this day. I am more interested in seeing what's going to happen next week. What they're showing in the trailer is an epic brawl between those girls. I don't know what the hell Brandi is thinking, or doing, but she definitely does not belong to this group of classier women, talking about blowjob parties and the constant blurting of the F word. Speaking of Camille's relevation about Taylor's domestic abuse issues, she obviously wasn't in it to char Russel's image. In the heat of the moment, she might have forgotten that the camera was rolling and everything could be shown to the public. The better thing for Taylor to do, if she's really devastated by the situation, is to come up to the producers/editors and beg them to not show that footage on tape. There was no reason to hold a grudge on Camille. I would probably love this show with less teenage drama and more of handsome Nick, hm...The men in Beverly Hills look so charming, I have to admit. If the drama on this show escalates into something like the New Jersey housewives, I'll have to stop watching because it's simply too much for TV. entertainment.
