Why do "precious" sports programs always preempt regular programming? It's going on 9:00, and "60 Minutes" just started a few minutes ago....which means we have to wait yet another hour to watch Big Brother. Well tough, I ain't waitin' around to watch it. I have other things to do with my time besides wait around for this show. If it weren't for Amazing Race, I'd stop watching CBS entirely.

^^ This ^^

The whole CBS evening lineup was delayed by more than an hour for ..... golf ?!?!? Ugh .....

No big surprises in tonight's show, except that Britney wasn't nominated. Don't know whether Brendan is actually considering a secret alliance with her -- or planning to back-door her, especially after she mocked him and called him a "neanderthal." (It was funny, though, to see the recap of her posturing at him ..... )

It will be interesting to see how Matt decides to use the DPV (assuming he doesn't win POV). Who will he choose to replace his "brigoof" member (I've already forgotten which one is on the block ) -- Britney or Cathy?

And the whole saboteur thing, IMHO, is just silly. Let's hope they don't ever use it again.

Oh -- and based on the earlier spoiler, I am so NOT looking forward to the second Pandora's Box!

As I said before, I think an HoH is always safe. But since this is a "special" POV, who knows. I wonder if there is anything on the CBS website that would tell us.

Anyway, I did end up watching last night...shame on me (I was just ticked off)...and I still don't think it matters that Brendon nominated Lane and Ragan. Matt's not going to let Lane stay on the block, and the Brigade will vote out who they want. Since Matt can't reveal that he has the DPOV, he's going to have to subtly find out who they would prefer to see go home "if Lane wins POV", so he can know who to put on the block.

Spoiler
BTW...Ragan wins POV.

And Rachel DOES come back to the house, but only for 24 hours. I don't understand the point of doing that, but I guess we'll find out Wednesday.

I had to work last night and was not happy when I came home to find a golf game had been DVRd. You would think that a DVR in 2010 would tape the show when it comes on not just when it is scheduled to. I can understand delaying for football

I may try to watch it online as I don't want to miss Britney and her comments but I will probably just wait til Wednesday.

Default Major major update

Spoiler
Matt is pissed that BB didn't catch the message that Rachel left behind in the HOH room. (Pretzel sticks that spelled out "Matt", indicating that she wanted Matt evicted this week.) BB told Matt that they're re-evaluating the rules for future seasons.

When you're composing a response, you'll see something called "Show/Hide" at the top of the text box. Highlight the text you want to include in the spoiler, then click on that button. It will place spoiler tags around the text.
Got it!
Thanks

MY DVR recorded golf also. I thought it said it would record a program no matter what happens! Happily I had the time to wait until the program aired.

Spoiler
Now that Matt is on the block, we know he is going to use the DPofV. Who will he pick? Kathy? Britney?

Brendon is safe from being put on the block this week even with the DPofV being used.
