Default So You Think You Can Dance

Okay people! Last year Benji won it. (I train with the Schwimmer's, BTW! ). I knew he was gonna win it last year. I knew Lacey was going to be on the show this year and she was on tonight. I predict Lacey is gonna win it this year. Mark my words!!!

I love that show!!!! When I was growing up my dream was to be a professional dancer (too late now). I'm so happy they have shows like this on tv now. Finially dancers have more jobs offered and the recognition they deserve. Benji is great and his sister had a great audition, good luck to her.

I LOVE it too! The 'clogger' last night was so great! I'd love to see him prove himself in Vegas.

I'm disappointed about one thing so far, though. I'm glad 'Hawk' returned (the kid that had to leave because he didnt have a 'work permit' last year) but there is one kid that I haven't seen yet. He was a curly haired 'tap-dancer' from last year's auditions and he came down to the wire but they told him they wanted to give him a year to 'grow' since he was only 18. He promised he'd come back but I haven't seen him yet. He had black curly hair and looked a little like Josh Groban. Does anyone else remember him? I loved that guy's style and was really looking forward to seeing him this year.

I totally love this show, and can't wait for this season to get going!! I agree that Benji's sister will go far, but don't personally think she'll win... she just seems to young & "wet behind the ears", if you know what I mean. So far I'm liking the clogger (what a shock that was!! ), the Asian/British break-dancer, the ex football player (who might not get too far b/c of his inexperience), and that young blond lyrical dancer - know who I'm talking about? There were others I liked, but can't think of them now... should be a fun season, though! Oh, and I absolutely LOVED that big guy, and would've liked to see him go on.

Also, did anyone else find it ironic that Nigel kept saying "I promise to be nice this year", but then seemed to be ruder than ever? C'mon, we all know who the fat people are, so there's no need to point it out! And when he said that big guy was getting condescending applause, I felt that was a bit harsh... might be true, but he didn't need to say it.

I love this show to death, and hope to actually take dance classes one day. I love comtemporary, ballet, hip hop and ballroom. I love Benji! I was glad he won. I knew he would. I'm not sure I know this person you're talking about now that you think will win this year, I'll have to be on the lookout. Then again, I've only seen one episode so far this season. Can't wait till things heat up!!

Did anybody see the episode with the guy named "Sex?" What on earth was he all about?! And his mother in the audience!! He's in such denial, and so is his mother. I don't know why they let people like that audition, it's such a waste of time.

OMG... "Sex" was on last season, and the sad thing is that he's actually improved. But he really is delusional, both about his dancing AND his sexiness - LOL.

Lacey Schwimmer is far from being "wet behind the ears" - she and her partner Jared Murillo are the current U.S. Open Young Adult Swing Dance Champions and Lacey is the current U.S. Youth Latin Champion. If you've never seen any of the Schwimmer kids dance before and you are not close to their studio in Redlands, CA, you can see clips of them on YouTube.
