I wish DTWS went back to their roots, of actually getting stars that have kind of faded out of the lime light to go on the show. Like Pam, Buzz and Shannen...the ex football greats (from past shows).
Leeza Gibbons (?) spelling(?). People, or shall I say stars like that. Not current mag trash (IE Kate) or even Nicole. Although she is good. They need celebs that kind of stay out or have very little lime light any more. That would make the show more appealing I think.
I'm with you, LQQKOUT. It was nice seeing stars of old on the show. Or even "B/C" stars who did good like John Hurley.
Think of it this way; Kate didn't choose what was being shown on the show; so who ever editing added it because they want people to feel sorry for her so that she stays on longer. There are a lot of people tuning in just because she is on it.
The next is that Kate isn't the only one with sob stories. Niecy has had a few; can't remember the others names. This is the 1st time I'm watching the show & only because of Kate; so I don't know anything about their editing.
True about the editing but I have watched her on other shows being interviewed whining, whining, crying, whining. I don't know anything about Niecy I've never seen her before DWTS.

Girl you & I am having a talk tomorrow! I won't be as nice as I am about your Dreamy Eyes either missy.
Just briefly scanned through Monday's show. Didn't really have time to watch it, and not that interested. But, I wanted to see what all the furor over Edyta's outfit was. I honestly don't see what everyone's making such a big deal about. Maybe it's because I'm used to seeing (and dressing this way myself!) latin costumes since I was 5 years old. I've seen costumes with less fabric, so I'm not really fazed by wghat Edyta was wearing. If you go to a real dance competition, you will see outfits like this all day long for all 3 or 4 days of the comp, in the latin and American rhythm heats.

Even though I didn't post about her costume (I don't think did I?) if I did it would be because of jealousy.
Saw Edyta and Aiden on "Regis and Kelly" this morning, and she was more covered up than usual, which I was happy to see that early in the morning. I have no problem with her outfits on the show, as I know that for pro dancers, it's par for the course.
I noticed the earlier comments on the skimpy costumes or Edyta and someone else, but I didn't see where anyone mentioned the outfit on Kim Johnson, the pro dancer demonstrating the Rhumba who liked like she was wearing a bra, panties and a man's shirt.

Yep, I mentioned Kim's outfit in contrast to Edyta's. I found Kim's dance and outfit to be on the trashy side but didn't have an issue with Edyta's outfit or dance.
