I can't think of any shows but as a kid, I hated the news. Hated it! And now I can't get enough of it. I wake to the local news and check into CNN, MSN.com and the Baltimore Sun several times a day for updates. I'll go looking for more news stories online. After 9/11, I just started getting into it and now its a daily habit.

My father would be so proud!

Only ones I can think of:

Mary Tyler Moore
Taxi

Now Taxi is one of my top 5 favorite shows.

My opinion has still not changed on Cheers and M.A.S.H. though. Didn't like them then, don't like them now. I tried, too. Sat down and gave them both a fair chance because they were so popular. They've never clicked with me. (Can't stand Cheers, yet I love Frasier. Hmm)

... And contrarily, there are ones I loved as kid that I have a hard time sitting through now.

The Patty Duke Show
Green Acres
.....

I didn't like Barney Miller either as a kid - but have started watching it now and like it a lot.

Mannix
Rockford Files
