Yup. There is so much of a difference in how he treats the kids trying out for a job vs. the celebrities that you might think he thinks of most of us as the 'little people' ala Leona Helmsley, fit to pay taxes and purchase products and services to increase the wealth of the 'big'(?) people, but not to really be thought of as fully human.

The contrast of deadpan faces on he and his kids vs. the eager looks of the contestants are so laughable.

Still, verbal agreements can still hold up in court and it's important to know the character of the people you are dealing with and that they can be depended upon to back their word. Regardless of what I think of Mr.Trump, Sharon is not a reliable person by her conduct on that show. I don't know her, so I can only judge what I see and it ain't pretty.

But, on the brighter side, I discovered Cyndi and got a few of her albums. She brightened my day a bit, with both her honesty and her talent.

Her new album, "At Last", is made for old fogies like me with standard songs and a Lauper twist. Her range is four octaves and she can bounce back and forth between high and low notes with no detectable strain. What am I talking about - I know nothing technically about music. I just like her and am glad she is singing the sort of songs that I loved in my youth. My mom used to listen to Elvis and I would buy Sinatra.

Cyndi has a blues CD "Memphis Blues" coming out in later June. She can sing ANYTHING! The shame of it though, is that she does not sound anywhere near as good on her CDs as she does live.

Thanks.
I went to the web site to subscribe and will purchase that cd.

The only other artist I subscribe to is Bobby McFerrin, who also surprises me with his versitility.

Tonight was the first time I saw the whole finale. (LOST was on last Sunday) I loved some of the off the cuff remarks Bret made regarding Holly....who really did look fabulous. I'm glad to see that everyone seemed to part friendly.

As for Sharon, I just think she was much sicker all the way through than we knew. She wouldn't have been disrespectful on purpose and really was friends with everyone. Maybe something is going on in her own life she is trying to keep private or she had additional health complications. Having the H1N1 virus after colon cancer is a dangerous place to be. She must be exhausted.

Yes, Holly in that dress was a real knock-out.
I don't remember having seen anyone look so good.

Sharon: if she had a legitimate excuse not to be there Trump would have mentioned her name and said she could not attend. He didn't, probably meaning he's miffed. I am not a big fan of his, but I wouldn't blame him. I don't know what went on with her, but he did ask her if she wanted to leave earlier and she said 'no'.

Default Bret's snapple

I bought a six pack last night at the super Walmart on Sardis. It's really good! I got the last pack and the shelf still was FULL of Holly's. I had to laugh.

I really do like it. I think he put cinnamon in it to kill the aftertaste from the artificial sweetener. I usually notice a slight taste with diet drinks, but not with that one. My bf says it's just cuz I'm enamored with Bret! LOL

Funny to hear that Bet's drink is selling out and Holly's drink is still sitting on the shelf.

Here's more proof that Bret truly beat Holly fair and square!

Straight from the mouth of Snapple in the Dallas Business Journal:

Quote:
Beyond the product's taste, what else led the Michaels' selection as the winner? According to Andrew Spingate, senior VP at Snapple, the decision came down to personality and the ability to identify a growing trend. "Holly is awesome and someone we'd definitely hire to be on our board. She's a smart thinker and strategist," he said. "Bret is Snappalicious. He's humble and not mainstream."

Springate also praised Michaels' decision to go with a diet drink, understanding's Snapple's strong growth potential in that area.

Why Snapple and Trump chose Bret Michaels - Dallas Business Journal
Bret had the ability to identify a growing trend. Personality matters. And being humble matters too!

Here's an article listing where the drinks are sold in each state:

I just found a 6 pack at the grocery store. I'm not a tea drinker, but I like Bret's blend because it has a unique, strong taste.

Don't judge on the first sip because it's surprisingly different. The second sip is heaven. Very flavorful and robust but thirst quenching at the same time.
