Interesting Gordon Ramsey is 'hosting' for your version. He's stopped doing the UK version. Raymond Blanc (sp) did it instead. He was firey as well but doesn't have the put down's Gordon does.
ps. Tania Ramsey (Gordon's wife) has started doing some cooking programs in the UK..she's rather hot!!
I am looking forward to it but I just cringe when he lays into those people, he can be so nasty.
That would be why it's called hell's kitchen. He does that stuff to motivate his staff. It's like a sports coach angry because his players are not giving a good effort.
Hope everyone had a good April fools day. I'm quite surprised this season has started so early, but hey, it's all good. Anyway, It seems to me the chefs this year are more interested in getting camera time than actually working. And then there's Bobby, claimed he could be a leader, yeah some leader "I dont wanna get involved in chaos." He'll probably be around for a while though.
So those who watched tonights show, what do you think of what has happened so far? And for fun, who are predictions to win the whole thing? i'll pick Ben right now, cause he's from where I live.
Cant wait for next week!
By the way, didnt like this year's introduction's, liked it better last year when Ramsey says "I wont curse, i wont shout, aww, who am i kidding?". Did find it funny he got on the bus on the trip there.
The guys always turn out to be arrogant a-holes, and the girls turn out to be raging b***hes (i'll just refer to them as B's now).
Anyways, Bobby was so lazy. He deserved to go. Jason and Dominic were also horrible. Otherwise, the guy with the huge cap was so arrogant in the bus, and seemed to calm down once Chef told him to take that crappy hat off. The rest of the team was saved because they worked on desserts and entrees, and as we all know, it never got that far.
On the girls, I still like their old leader (I think it was Veronica). She's just quiet, but she's a great chef. The second leader, while she led well, seemed like a B also with a huge attitude problem. The young chef actually got the risotto right, so she has the right to be arrogant (because out of everyone today, she did it), and blonde barbie just got a bit of bad luck.
Can't wait till next week...
